BOEOTIA. Orchomenos. Circa 525-500 BC. Obol (Silver, 9 mm, 0.78 g). Wheat grain. Rev. Square incuse with cross design and single diagonal line across two opposite quarters. BCD Boiotia 186. HGC 4, 1240. Pozzi (Boutin) 3199. Beautifully toned and struck in high relief. Minor edge split, otherwise, good very fine.

From the collection of Walter Weise, Künker 347, 22 March 2021, 691 (with collector's ticket) and previously privately acquired from R. Kaiser in 1990.
